That awkward moment when you look over at you journal and realize you haven't updated since October 2012. SWEET JESUS XD


Honestly I'm more-so writing this to cover up the shame rather than to actually update, HA!



**It's been a little frantic lately. If you've been following me on Twitter you've probably seen me talk about some health issues. Still dunno what the hell is going on so I wont dwell on that too much XD For those that were following: I got the treatment for my eye and it is getting better pretty fast Just need to know why it happened XD

**Still working at the same job, but I'm a manager now... Sort of XD I got forced into a promotion I didn't want. I've been looking for a new job but I haven't had much luck. Unfortunately most of the places in my area don't pay as much as my current job (which is really sad because I don't make that much more than minimum wage).

**I didn't attend Sakura Con and ECCC this year because I'm saving all my vacation time for a trip with , , and . I'm SUPER excited, it'll be my first time leaving the West

**That being said I am working on two new costumes right now, and as always me and the rest of the group are always tossing around other costume ideas

**I will be attending Anime Revolution this year with the rest of FDP! Unfortunately I will only be there on Friday and Sunday though as I have to be a bridesmaid in a wedding on the Saturday (I think that's a good excuse to miss a con right? ).

**Had to say goodbye to two people that I hold very dear to me. It hit me a lot harder than I thought it would (emotiooooonnnsss) and made me realize that you take the time with your friends for granted.

**I'm still technically computer-less, however my friends have been really sweet to me and whenever someone goes on away on business or vacation friends have been lending me their laptops. Phones and tablets can only go so far XD It's also very convenient that my Dad lives a hop away and has a brand spankin' new computer that I can mooch while he works HAHA




On another note. Admittedly, I am in a bit of a artistic-funk. I haven't drawn anything in.... Forever (I think I've drawn maybe half a dozen things in a year and a bit), and I'd like to get back into it again. But to be honest I can't seem to get that drive going. I know a lot of it is stress related and that's something I have to work on here, but I'd like to here from any artists/crafters/funky people who happen to be watching me on DA: What gets you out of an artistic funk? What inspires you? What gets your pen to paper? I'm very curious to hear what you have to say and would really appreciate any offerings.


Whenever I do get my art up and going again, I will create a separate DA account to post on since "mavichaos" has for the most part because a strict cosplay account  I will post a link in my journal when I do so and I appreciate any watchers and feedback, but obviously I understand the majority of you watch me for my cosplay and not for my art XD



And finally... I know a lot of people have been noting/pm-ing/messaging me about updating my youtube channel. I'm so goddamn sorry XD I swear to god it's on my to-do list. I will get to it.


Whelp... That's my shame-covering journal XD I always say "I'll try to update more often" but who're we kidding... I'm a lost cause HA
